Dear Collegues
Despite total correction of TOF being a common cardiac surgical procedure for more than 50 years, some controversies still exist regarding the optimal management of this group of patients. Among concerns, the function of the right ventricular late after correction, the lack of an ideal solution for RVOT reconstruction, management of the arrhythmic events. Recently, the combined surgical-interventional approach to patients with TOF gained more interest. New challenges in the perioperative care came into light due to an increased tendency towards early correction. Last, but not least, care of the adults after correction of TOF represents already a daily practice aspect.
We cordially invite you to come to the scenic area at the seaside of Rostock. The conference site offers an attractive possibility for intensive discussion with experts in the field.
Yours,
