Management of the univentricular circulation is an interdisciplinary task involving pediatric cardiologist, cardiac surgeons and many other specialists. The lifelong treatment represents a major concern to all physicians involved in medical care of these patients. The summer course on the Fontan circulation addresses a number of critical factors and open questions in diagnosis and treatment as well as new directions of development.
